Open Access (OA) is emerging as a new model for book publishing. We support OA books in line with our commitment to exploring publishing models that are financially sustainable, scalable and in accordance with our mission to disseminate knowledge at the highest international levels of excellence.

We facilitate OA in books both through our Gold OA publishing programme and through our Green OA policy.


In addition to the open access books available via Cambridge Core, we also publish The History Manifesto. The Knowledge Unlatched titles are also available via the OAPEN platform and HathiTrust.
